Job Description
Responsibilities:
•Establish the business unit as a profitable and growing part of the North American retail business
•P&L responsibility and total budget control
•Overall strategic guidance of the e-commerce specific needs in the fields of buying and merchandizing as well as on-line marketing and customer relationship management
•Back up the e-commerce briefing for retail buying
•Alignment between regional retail buying / merchandizing and e-commerce
•Develop regional on-line adequate product portfolios
•Evaluate continuously market opportunities for e-commerce
•Recommend and develop adequate vision, concepts and actions to generate regional specific growth through marketing and strong b to c knowledge base
•Structured briefing of regional identified and verified shop features and functions
•Develop and implement regional long term initiatives to drive on-line sales up to substantial growth
•Regional business Intelligence with regards to competitors
•Modeling and controlling of the regional payment processes
•Build lean regional infrastructure
•Develop, implement and manage guidelines for 3rd party performance
•Build and improve professional KPI based 3rd party controlling
•Professional and team orientated guiding of direct reports
•Alignment between sales channels, vertical retail and brand marketing
•Support professional business reporting
Qualifications/Competencies:
•Ability to lead and manage a cross functional team of 10-15
•Strong marketing, CRM and retail experience
•Experienced and proven success in managing a 3rd party outsource platform
•A strong strategic and business planning aptitude
•Experience in managing global outsourcing partner
•A collaborative personality able to influence all areas of IT, Marketing and Retail
•Total understanding and experience in retail buying and merchandising
•Experience in building and enhancing on-line store revenue
•Preferably a BA/MBA graduate
