Creative Services Writer/Producer
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
As part of the Creative Services team, write, produce, direct, edit and design quality on-air network promotion and production
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write, produce, direct, edit and design high-quality network promos, commercials, interstitial productions, marketing tapes and long form video projects
Work with CS designers with both creative and technical production and delivery for network design projects
Work with network sales department for marketing materials and demo tapes
Work with Wide Orbit scheduling software to strategically schedule promos in prime day parts
Work with CS department to research and recommend technology and software resources for the position
Other related projects and responsibilities as needed
EDUCATION:
Advanced Avid training
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience producing and writing broadcast promotions and/or broadcast advertising
Strong organizational and project management skills
Versed in all aspects of video production, hardware and software
Strong copywriting skills and proficient in non-linear Final Cut/Avid editing
After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator experience required
Live single camera directing experience a plus
Proven ability to excel in a highly technical environment and learn new technologies quickly
Excellent organizational skills and must be extremely detail oriented
Solid track record of successfully working in a fast paced, loosely structured environment
Must have strong communication skills and a strong work ethic
Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision but also able to work effectively within a team environment
