Corporate Partnership Account Executive / Services Coordinator
This position is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of club-controlled inventory in signage, print, radio, promotional events, and hospitality entitlements. Candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the Fresno Grizzlies meet their projected corporate sales goals each season. Candidate will assist in servicing client’s needs, scheduling, planning and executing special events and promotions at the ballpark and off site, and other duties necessary. Core competencies to include: Excellent time management and communication skills, ability to customize and activate sponsorship programs, and the delivery of excellent customer service after the sale. Candidate will be thoroughly trained on all aspects of the sales process and will be given the tools needed to be successful.
# Job Duties and Responsibilities: Research, prospect, and establish leads for corporate relationships. Setup fact-finding meeting to obtain partnership objectives.
# Develop unique partnership proposals to meet client’s expectations.
# Coordinate and deliver partnership presentations.
# Effectively ensure contract fulfillment.
# Work game days to entertain existing and potential clients as needed.
# Participate and assist with additional duties as assigned by the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
# Demonstrated knowledge and proven track record of practices and principles of sales and marketing.
# Ability to work with aggressive sales goals and expectations in a fast paced environment.
# Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with corporate clients, as well as co-workers.
# Successful candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years sales experience, preferably in the sports industry, as well as a degree in marketing or a related field.
# Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Adobe graphic programs a plus.
Compensation:
# Salary based on experience, plus commission and bonus structure tied to direct sales efforts.
# Health insurance and 401K plan is available after ninety (90) days of continuous service.
