Job Description Representative, Special Markets Sales

Description
The Special Markets Sales Representative is responsible for managing sales growth with partners and their preferred distributors. Responsible for the sale and promotion of Callaway Golf Company products to assigned accounts and prospective accounts within the US corporate market. Customers include Promotional Product Distributors, Premium Incentive Distributors, Master Distributors, and various other designated Special Markets accounts. Responsible for following up on corporate direct leads and assigning prospects to preferred distributors.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
• Follow-up on all Special Markets incoming leads and track close rate of sales
• Proactively makes outbound calls to existing accounts to identify and close new revenue opportunities. (Min. 100 outbound calls per week)
• Prepares sales plan, call rotations, and business plans
• Recommends products to Promotional Products Distributors to secure distribution of Callaway Golf products within in-line program business. Works closely with Program Managers consulting on products and overall golf category
• Conducts sales presentations and Product Training Seminars on the telephone and occasionally at customer locations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Golf industry knowledge
• Promotional Products Distributor and ASI Knowledge
• Knowledge of Master Distributor Model
Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
• Minimum 3 years successful industry selling experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
